Communications Center Policies for Mississippi

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety awarded OSS - Law Enforcement Advisors of Spring, Texas a statewide contract to provide Communications Center Policies & Procedures for 911 operators.

These policies will be provided to every Mississippi law enforcement and emergency communications center in the state in electronic format.  The set covers over 110 different topic areas, many of which are time sensitive and critical.

"We are extremely excited for this opportunity.  This product is a big asset for telecommunicators.  It is the first of its kind in terms of providing detailed written policies for small to mid-sized telecommunicator operations.  With over 2,000 departments currently using our law enforcement and jail policies products throughout the United States; this manual strengthens our other law enforcement, jail and educational support services," said David Lee Salmon II of OSS.  "Along with the manuals, training can be provided to assist communicators to take full advantage of the guidelines".
